- 2004 LeSabre Custom
I have a 60,000 mile LeSabre Custom that I'm told needs new rear shocks, which surprised me because I have long felt that the front suspension was way too soft and bouncy. The tech says I will like the front much better once the rear shocks are replaced. I don't know.Question 1: How can I tell if the front suspension is fine, even if I think it's too soft and bouncy? If I can independently and objectively determine that the front suspension is fine, then I'll know that.Question 2: How doe I test the rear? The air pump is working and sounding OK.Question 3: If I were to replace the struts and shocks, what recommendations does anyone have for replacements that will eliminate the soft and bouncy front? I may be in front and rear replacement b/c of tech thinks the shocks are due.
