New to the site so im sure this has been covered but I can't seem to locate it. I bought a 2005 Lacrosse 3.6 recently and the 3rd day it left me stranded at the store with a no crank situation. That was a month ago and I am still trying to trace down the culprit. I have done lots of wire chasing and scanning and more reading than I can explain. My d.i.c. doesn't show a start disabled message, there is not a security dummy light on. I have a service traction control, service stabilitrac, service abs that will come across the message center when it goes into this situation but I believe those to be from loosing power when I disconnect the battery. To the best of my knowledge my ecm is not receiving a wake up call from my bcm therefore I am not getting power to my starter solenoid when key is in crank position. If I jump power to the solenoid with key in run position it wakes everything up and I can then start the car with ignition. Sometimes I can shut the car off and restart multiple times before it ends up back in a no crank mode. I replaced the starter knowing it wasn't the issue but the old one sounded like a box of bolts when I took it off. I have also replaced ignition switch. The ignition lock cylinder is my next thought because I accidentally figured out the key can be removed in any position, acc, run, crank, and my steering wheel doesn't lock in place with key off and removed. I also have a hood latch issue but I don't see how that is going to be the cause. If anyone has any insight, any wiring diagrams, or just random ideas please help. I'm out of money, time and have a very pissed off girlfriend because I talked her into buying this car over a minivan and she still has no vehicle.
