2010 Buick LaCrosse cxl
Hello I’m new here. I just recently purchased the car AS IS. It’s pretty decent shape. In the morning when I start it after the car had been sitting the head lights and the dash lights flicker for about 1 minute or less. The radio plays fine and everything sounds ok but that problem bugs me plus the engine light is on.. what should I do. I already got robbed by Midas because when I got the car the ac compressor had 2 bolts missing from it cause the belt to slip out of position and Midas fixed my belt without fixing the compressor and me not knowing anything I thought the problem was fixed and the next day my wheel was hard to turn because the belt was completely off. That ran me about 350$. The didn’t tell me I needed to get my compressor bolts put on in order for my belt to stay in tact. They told me after the fact of my car breaking down and they also informed me that they didn’t have the machine needed to fix the problem and they referred me
Somewhere else. Precision auto care took car of the ac compressor and belt but the lights flicker and the engine light is on so what should I do

Autozone can do a free check of the engine light and also check the charging system. You will need to find a local repair shop that you trust.

Ok but I think the auto zones in Washington DC don’t do the free check right now cause the COVID stuff.. but thanks for the response

You need to find a good independent garage, you should avoid places like Midas like the plague as well as dealerships for out of warranty work.
