2013 leather edition Buick Lacrosse
First car I have had with the Buick intellilink. I am wondering about updates. I seriously doubt any have been done to the 2013 LaCrosse leather edition I just purchased. Is this something I need to take the car to the dealer to get done? Are they going to charge me for the service?

If any are there they would be old and not for free.

If everything is currently working as it should, I would hesitate to update as something could stop working, or you may get something you don't want.

I'm pretty sure you can't update the Intellilink on the 2013. I've inquired about getting one with the lines on the back up camera but no joy.

Is there anything in particular that doesn't work or that you want to change? Just curious.

I used to enjoy using the interface to Pandora that was included in Intellilink but that hasn't worked for years now. I also wish we could use Android Auto from within the interface. I found a docking station for my phone that fits into the CD slot that works OK to control the phone, which I have set to automatically connect to the car.

I bought a 2013 touring this past August, tried everywhere to find that update. GM does not provide it anymore. If we really wanted to update it, we would be relying on folks on this board to share the file they downloaded years ago. If anyone has it, I'd love to do the update for the navigation. It would be nice to not have that red Kmart logo on the map...LOL! Buy seriously, I am surprised the updates are not available - Buick still has the web page up, but it says unavailable. Why not continue to have that file available to download...

Navigation updates are VIN specific and the company providing the updates is not a GM company.
