My wife’s 2013 Buick Verano Leather (Not Turbo) is now starting to spudder when I come to a stop at stop lights. It doesn’t or has not stalled yet but it sounds like it wants to and it seems to be when I come to a quicker stop. I have no lights on the dash. I thought it may be bad gas. I runs mid grade gas in it. I was thinking fuel filter but cannot find one on parts sites. I’m guessing that may be because it is internal to the gas tank. My next guess is spark plugs but there’s no room to work on these things and think I would rather pay someone to replace them. Anyone have any idea what would cause this? I have to quickly throw it I. Neutral if the problem occurs and it starts to idle fine immediately. No problems when hitting gas and taking off again.

Any help would be much appreciated!

What's the car's mileage? I just had mine changed out a month or so ago but I have the 2L turbo. If that's not it, I wouldn't rule out a fuel filter replacement. Are any codes thrown? Any idiot lights on when this happens? Also, have you tried any fuel system cleaner?

I’m driving it now and it actually stalled as I was pulling out of my parking spot at work the mileage is 143,000 I have no idiot lights on and I was going to try to throw some seafoam in it and see what happens but I was looking up the fuel filters and well that was just AutoZone and they didn’t have any for sale I didn’t check other sites I may check other sites. That is the only reason I thought the fuel filter may be inside of the gas tank rather than on the outside and replaceable. I’ll be sure to keep an eye on this thread and updating thank you do you have any other ideas? Thanks again!

My girlfriend's car is doing this now. Did you ever figure out the issue?
