2013 enclave persistent P0455 code, EVAP leak

2013 Buick enclave, 3.6 AWD, I have dropped the tank and replaced the cannister and purge and checked the lines, replaced the top purge solenoid. on warm days I get a heavy fuel smell inside the car. not so much when it is cold even w heat on. it is not the cap, replaced it and all of everything I replaced has been OEM. I am frustrated and stuck. I keep wanting to lean toward filler neck but it has been on back order. and the cannister was filled with fuel when replaced so it definitely needed to be replaced. I just cannot get the code to clear
