13' Buick Regal Turbo
Hello Everybody,
I have a 2013 Regal turbo, 147k miles. It's been a great car, no problems until today. Went into the store came out started the car, took a look at my phone before pulling out and the engine shut off and I started getting maintenance warnings and key fob not present. It's weird, the fob was still locking and unlocking the doors but I push the start button and nothing. 30 seconds later the dash would light up saying no fob. Nothing is working except the radio. Windows don't work, nothing. I disconnected the battery which was new last year and gave it a while, nothing. I'm stumped and not seeing anything online about it. Anyone heard of anything like this?

You need to have that battery load tested! I don't care about how young it is, they can all fail unannounced! Voltage test may help, but does not tell the full story!

Agree, battery should first be checked.

Wouldn't hurt to Replace the FOB Battery either.
My car did some pretty weird things when the Batteries in my FOB's were dying.
But first thing is first, have the Car's Battery Load Texted!

I figured it out. I was checking voltage and continuity on the fuse bus that's on top of the battery. On the 250A that goes to the fuse box under the hood I was only getting 4vdc on the other side. I pulled the whole bus out gave it a good tap and moved that 250 back and forth. Put it back in and had 12.6vdc. Car started right up and problems all went away. I assume there to be some corrosion under that 250 cover. I'll be replacing that whole fuse bus.

Glad you figured it out.
I agree, you need to replace the bad part even if it's currently working.
