2015 Verano compass ---

Compass 2015 verano will not calibrate. Upon starting the vehicle the DIC shows CAL, shortly after it only shows ---- (series of dashes). Any info on how to correct this issue would be great.

Purchased car a couple of months ago and already have experienced more issues than I did in the 9 years I owned my 2003 Toyota Avalon.
I do like the car I just am not sure about recent problems, ambient air temp sensor/replaced, upstream o2 sensor/replaced, compass and blind side detection module/replaced.

I have the Intellilink version on my infotainment but no onstar subscription. I work for a college that has numerous Chevy Cruzes with basic infotainment center, no onstar subscription and the compass reading shows up on the DIC screen in the instrument cluster. Do I need onstar to have use of my compass or navigation options?

I asked if you have factory navigation, nothing to do with Onstar. If you have factory navigation does it work? Trying to determine if you have an antenna problem.

No, I do not have factory navigation.

Your GPS antenna is not picking up a signal. The problem could be the antenna, the cable or the head unit.
Did it ever work?
