Hi everyone,
I’m having an issue with my 2016 Buick Enclave (automatic transmission). When accelerating gently (not aggressively), the car jerks noticeably between 2nd and 3rd gear, usually around 2000–3000 RPM. The shifting feels rough and unnatural, but there is no check engine light and no error codes.
This only happens under light or steady throttle, not during hard acceleration or at higher speeds.
I’ve seen a few possible causes and would appreciate your input:
Dirty or aging transmission fluid
Worn or sticking valve body / shift solenoids (6T75 transmission)
Faulty or soft engine/transmission mounts
Possibly early signs of torque converter issues?
Has anyone experienced something similar on an Enclave or a related GM vehicle (like Traverse, Acadia, Outlook)?
What would you check first? Fluid change? Valve body? Or is this a known behavior of these transmissions?
Thanks in advance for any advice!
