2016 Encore - Can we update to Android Auto yet?!

I bought my Encore a year ago and love it, but the navigation is terrible! The map doesn't even have part of an interstate bypass (I-485) in Charlotte that was completed in June 2015! It is already a hassle to have to go to a dealer to get navigation updates, but throw in that they aren't even updating the maps all that well and its a waste. Does anyone have any information on how to update the hardware/software to be allowed to use Android Auto? Google Maps isn't amazing, but it at least has most roads on it and even shows real time traffic without paying a subscription fee to OnStar so I really want to have it on screen in my car. I know that the LaCrosse and the Regal have an update to Android Auto, but my dealer tried to apply that one to my Encore and it was missing something to be allowed to do it.
