Hey Y'all,
Skimmed the threads I only seen like one other person having the same issue with their 2017 Buick Encore. The check engine light keeps popping up.
Last year I noticed the car stalling when idle, and struggling to start when I would refuel. Took it to a GMC dealership and they replaced the fuel injector. But the problem remained and I was beyond frustrated with them.
This year I had the entire computer system in the car replaced as well as a purge valve. Runs a lot better now but the check engine light is still on. Now I'm getting the code P0420 popping up on my diagnostics. The mechanic I took it to said I could take it to GMC to have the catalytic converter replaced. Has anyone else run into this issue? Apparently it's covered under an emissions warranty but I'm honestly tired and scared that the problem will be reoccurring.
