- 2017 Regal GS AWD
My 2017GS AWD is having the classic Jerking/Hesitation under harder throttle. No Codes, Nothing lights up on the dash when the jerk happens.
61,000 Miles (I drove it off the buick lot in feb 2018) 40K of these miles was pure Highway driving when I used to consult.
Always Run 93 Octane either BP or Shell
Run Delco Ultraguard Filters & Pens Euro L 5w30 only, VERY little oil consumption at the current mileage.
Transmission was flushed at 50K
In June of 2024 (50K) I had a limp mode/misfire incident & replaced all 4 Coil Packs & plugs with OEM parts & issues resolved up until a few weeks ago.
I have cleaned the MAF
Replaced the Air Filter
Last highway trip this week I got 27.7mph cruise was set to 75mph.
If I'm very basic with the throttle i will never get the hesitation/jerk, but when i nail it (I do drive spirited) I will absolutely run into the issue. Transmission has no issues shifting & shows not signs of possible issues very smooth shifting. The Turbo spool sounds normal as well.
Any more guidance from the experts here?? Could one of my 16 month old coil packs with 10k miles on them be going bad??
I have ordered Both Solenoids to replace & a new set of Coil packs (All OEM).
Could it be a vacuum issue?? Torque converter???
