The Bitter Edition, built on a modified Opel Insignia, features an exclusive design.

Bitter Cars – Der Luxus, anders zu sein! " Erich Bitter Automobil GmbH (Bitter) is a premium sports-luxury automobile marque produced in Germany and later Austria. Founder Erich Bitter, a former racing driver turned automobile tuner, importer, and ultimately designer began crafting his own vehicles after business ventures with Italian manufacture Intermeccanica ended.

Bitter specializes in rebody-ing other manufacturer's vehicles and its initial production, selling vehicles in Europe and the United States. "

I'm not a fan of those exterior modifications, but the interiors are pretty nice. I like the additions of the alcantara. Especially on the GSi Grand Sport. Definitely provides a more premium feel to the cabin.Screenshot_20200917-180328__01.jpg

Too much extra carbon outside. Note what he did with the steering wheel. Glued big logo over.

I noticed the same, Bitter pasted "B" emblem over the airbag's Opel badge, very crude. This Insignia was priced 48890 euros ( 57,955 USD) with 2.0L Opel engine and only 209PS. I like the color, maybe is exclusive to Bitter Edition.

I like the wheels but the rest of it leaves me cold, especially the garish "B" emblems on grill and steering wheel.

This is the exact reason why I never looked at GS, I wanted beige interior. These look amazing!

The 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine for Opel Insignia is no longer available for all Insignia versions (incl. GSi). This engine was imported from the USA and does not comply with the Euro 6d-TEMP norm.

Another nice reincarnation of Insignia

I seriously do not understand the obsession with oversized wheels, skin-thin tires and lowered suspension. This picture makes me think driving in Chicago or worse NYC would be a nightmare, especially during winter time with all those potholes. Pulling up to someone's driveway would scratch the underbody. Lager wheels add rotational mass resulting in slower acceleration and extra body roll when turning.

All comes down to aesthetics for me. I picked up the 20" Opel wheels solely for the looks. I have no intentions of lowering the car or anything else though.

I am sacrificing ride quality, wheel protection, and you've already mentioned the affects on performance. I'm ok with it.

Might as well throw Detroit in there too. I've had a blowout every year for the past three years on 16" alloys (different car). The potholes always find a way, even with larger aspect ratios.

Jack GS please share photos of your 20" Opel wheels. I don't like Tourx 18' factory wheels. I am debating if I should get LaCrosse 2017-2019 20" OEM Wheels or LaCrosse 2017-2019 18" OEM Wheels (called by Opel "RCW Light alloy wheel 8.5J x 18 in 15-spoke design 3 (- 06/18)". How you will compare ride quality between 20" and 18" wheels?

I purchased the RQ9 wheel option from the picture you attached. I shared unmounted pictures of them in another thread: Boxes From Germany. I don't plan on mounting them until next year.

The GS comes with 19" wheels but I won't really be making any profound comparisons. I'll just form an opinion based on how they "feel". Very subjective...

I am leaning toward OEM LaCrosse 20" due to aesthetics. My Tourx is like a Boulevard prince who will never see offroad. I have also a 2018 Subaru Outback Touring.

someone knos Who's opel's wheels manufacturer ??
