Hello everyone,
I am writing about my 2022 Envison ST that I bought this past October. To be honest I have always had faith in GM products but this vehicle has been a nightmare so far.
With less than 2000km I have had it at the dealership 4 separate times because of my engine light.
My first issue was with the chip in the console that controls the changes of drive modes (awd, sport and etc).. that has been since replaced and no more issues with it.
The latest issue has been with it starting. The vehicle will command start and run its allotted time. However, when I go to start the vehicle manually it would just crank over. It did this approximately three times and then actually started. It revved up high and then was shaking at idle. The shaking would disappear once driving. The dealership blamed it on the battery having a low charge. They did a battery test said it passed and recharged it. Anyways, picked up the vehicle the engine code was cleared and it seemed like the vehicle was working.
This past Friday I went to go start the vehicle and the same thing happened... I just left the vehicle sit all weekend as soon as I seen the engine light come on. This morning when I attempted to take it to the dealer it started just fine. engine light still on though. I ran inside with my key fob while it was warming up.. When I came outside to leave to the dealer the vehicle was off. The vehicle would crank but not start.. I eventually had to boost it. I was able to get to the dealership. They contacted me saying they would be digging into the vehicle further. Has anyone else had issues similar to this or any insight to what is going on?
