2024 Envision puts on the brakes when I back out of the driveway

My 2024 Envision puts on the brakes when I back out of the driveway. As I go down the driveway ramp to the street the car sees the pavement and puts on the brakes. It makes me think I hit something which is very disconcerting. Wish I had a way to fix it without disabling the system.

Has it always done this or a new issue?
Have you discussed it with the dealer?

This has been there from the start. I haven't brought it up to the dealer yet, still trying to figure out if there is a setting somewhere I haven;'t found yet.

Part of the emergency braking system. You can turn it off in settings so that it gives you both a dash notification and a vibration in your seat. One of the first things I did as I feel that it is dangerous when the car suddenly brakes.
