My boss gave me a set of almost new studded 215/75r15 snows today, and I'm wondering if they will fit without rubbing up front. From what I've seen on tire converter websites the tires are just under 1" taller than my stock 215/70R15's (it's an Ultra).

Figured I'd ask first before I dismount a tire and find out.

Thanks.

Should fit with no problem. Slight effect on your gearing and speedometer calibration.

215-75-15 = Section Width 8.40" Overall Diameter: 27.60"
215-60-15 = Section Width 8.70" Overall Diameter: 25.20"

When I owned a '92 PAU, I preferred using 215-60-15 tires on it. However, an '93 Ultra originally came with:
215/70R15
Section Width 8.70"
Overall Diameter: 26.90"

They actually fit great. Nice and tall for the snow. I can crawl under the car now. Picked up a set of mid 90's Regal aluminum wheels for them. Grand total of $20.

Mine has the 215/60R16 tires because i have the Grand Touring Suspension.
