I was thinking about what my dream car would be. I decided it would be a 00-05 deville or a 06-11 DTS with a 3.8l buick engine because I want reliable GM luxury. The 00-05 Pontiac Bonneville had the l36/l67 and the northstar from the 00-05 Deville. I know the tranny was different 4T65-E or -hd for the supercharged 3.8l vs. the 4T80-E. The Buick Lucerne could be comparable to the DTS in the same way. I was wondering how hard a swap like that would be and what parts besides the engine and tranny would have to be replaced?
