2015 Buick Verano Turbo
Thanks to 18 months of mostly not driving to work, the Verano passed the 60K mark last week. It still goes well, stops well, rides well and handles like it always has. Mileage has been lower but with almost no highway driving until recently and just running local errands, I'm not surprised.

Since 40K, I've:
  • Replaced the OEM Continental tires with General Altimax RT-143s
  • Replaced the OEM battery
  • Brake fluid was flushed and refilled
  • Engine air filter was replaced (found out the kids @ Valvoline broke part of the air box leading to the filter in 2018 while they argued whether a 4-cyl can really take 6.3 qts of oil)
  • Coolant flushed and refilled
  • New cabin air filter installed
  • Replaced broken trunk latch surround (my fault)
  • Plus basic, regular maintenance like oil changes, new wiper blades, tire rotations, etc.
Car's less than a year from being paid off. To do next:
  • Car will get new air box and engine air filter (LKQ)
  • Needs a new lip spoiler kit (on backorder) to replace the weatherstripping between spoiler and trunk lid
  • New half-dash to replace OEM dash w/welded parts the Jiffy Lube tech broke last December but would not admit to breaking, so passenger knee air bag mounts correctly again and the incessant chiming ends (LKQ)
  • Driver's seat will need new leatherette sections where my shoulders have rubbed against it but cheaper than a new seat then I'll get a seat cover that won't interfere with the airbag in the seat and through which I can hopefully still feel the seat heater
  • Finally, hood and roof will be pared back to metal then re-shot and new clearcoat added to get rid of clearcoat crazing

You forgot to mention, promise to never go back to Jiffy-Lube.
