Ive currently got a 1993 roadmaster, that i cant for the life of me figure out a fuse that keeps blowing. Fuse 6, my 20Amp generator, daytime running, ac control relay, ac control, and variable effort steering, blows immediately on run. Ive looked for bad wires, ive removed every connector save for the main large connector at the AC control center which seems to have some red security tabs on it, making it hard to remove without doing a full dash disassembly. Ive tried replacing alternator, checked voltage regulator, all wiring looks to be in very good condition. It stopped blowing for about 30 seconds one time, and i havent been able to replicate it since. But when it worked the ac control center showed perfectly fine, so i’m not sure if it can be that thats blowing the fuse. Any ideas? Id really love to start driving this again but without the Gen fuse, the alternator isnt charging the battery.
