95 buick roadmaster fuel pump?

To replace a fuel pump on a 95 buick roadmaster do you have to drop the tank or is there an access door in the trunk?

You have to drop the tank.

cut an access hole using a plasma cutter. it will make it easier to get to the pump.

It may be a bit easier and safer to drop the fuel tank first and then cut
a small panal out of the trunk or floor( wagon). But ,in fact I think the first
task that must be done is dropping the tank,which is kinda sloppy to do. I hate bending up the tank straps and knowing that I am going to re use them.
Anyway,when replacing the fuel pump, know that statistically you will most
likely never need to do it again. So unless you have some spare time on your hands its not really necessary to cut an installation panal! ed
