my 97 regal overheated on my fiancé last night on her way home and died I went to help her out and it "reluctantly" started and I got it home. This morning it started up again "reluctantly" but I shut it off to move my other car out from behind it and now I cant get it to start it will crank but its like there is no fire I checked all of the hoses and they all seem to be in good shape I have recently replaced the power steering pump and before that the water pump please any suggestions?

I assume this is the base L36 3.8 Series II engine. Have you checked the radiator, or the overflow tank to see if they are low on coolant? If so, you may have the common upper intake issue where the EGR tube burns through the UIM behind the throttle body. When this happens, the engine will ingest coolant into intake & foul the plugs and make it nearly impossible to start. If larger amounts of coolant are ingested into the combustion chambers, it will cause hydro-lock and the engine will cease to rotate when trying to start. Remove the plugs and turn the engine over to see what comes out of the cylinders. If you see/smell coolant, time to replace the UIM. We have plenty of threads on this subject in the Regal, PA and LeSabre forums if you do a search.
