I thought this stupid problem was fixed but it just died at the worst possible time.

If you owned a 98 buick park avenue with about 380KM on it. What would you change, suggest testing.

It just stalls completely out. It doesn't throw a check engine or anything. It is just driving and cuts out.

I have watched the RPM and it seems some times it goes to stall but rebounds and back to normal. The other times it just completely stalls out and I have to pop it into neutral and start it up before I shit my pants.

There is no engine check engine lights, there are no error codes. The engine I can start it up fine and let it idle for hours on end fine.

I don't know what is doing this.

I want some serious suggestions what to test, what to see if what part is failing.

ugh.

Thank you!

Unplug the MAF sensor to see if it stops dying. If it does...problem solved, you need a new MAF sensor

You may find your answer here, did you scan for codes? Give some more info on the engine size and mileage and any or all codes that are displayed.
many of the members are pretty good gearheads! If not, you can try here....
The first may be worth a watch.

I had a problem with my 2001 park avenue stalling or engine dying I would coast to a stop pulling over to the side of the road put the car in park and connect scanner could not find any faults. The stalling would happen randomly. The last it stalled I pulled to the side of the road WITHOUT TURNING THE IGNTION TO THE OFF POSITION LEAVING THE KEY IN THE RUN POSITION, I connected the scanner there was a fault for the CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR. When I turn the key to the run position it would reset the pending or random fault. Had a crankshaft position sensor install have not had a problem
