what is the best type of plug for my 98 buick park avenue? iridium, platinum or copper? I've looked online but i can't seem to find that info. i want to use oem. from there i'm a bit lost. what was originally in this car?
thanks, Don

Copying the post I made earlier today...

Copper spark plugs have excellent conductivity but poor longevity. Iridiums have excellent longevity but mediocre conductivity.
Platinums on the other hand, have poor conductivity and mediocre longevity!

I have been using NGK V-power spark plug #3951 (TR55) for the past 10 years, they are great.
It's copper... in older cars iridium spark plugs can easily foul as they barely have any surface area, they are like needles...

i found a set for 12.89 on ebay. 🙂 good plug at a great price i'd say.
