I have a 98 LeSabre with 125K miles. Car runs fine except will occasionally stop or stall, usually at low speed. It's as if the ignition were turned off. Put the car into neutral and the engine can immediately be started. I tried to look for loose connections but nothing obvious. Happens infrequently.

Anyone have a similar problem and found solution? Is this indicative of some imminent failure of an electronic component?

Thanks

I experienced the same problem with my 97.

Ended up being my Fuel Pressure Regulator.

Another thing which I would check is the throttle position sensor. If the computer isn't getting the correct TPS data it can cause the symptoms you describe.
