A/C light question

Hello all! I'm happy to be a new proud owner of a 98' Regal GS with 115k miles. Insanely clean and garage kept its whole life.
Anyhow im going thru the car and the question I have is about the climate control cluster.
I see there is a light on the top left button "auto". I've pressed it and the other buttons in different combinations to see it come on and it's yet to light up. The a/c and everything works perfectly just no light on that "auto" button when I push it. It comes on and seems to do what its suppose to when i press it but no light. Am I missing something? Thank you

The bulb is probably burned out.

Playing around with the electronic climate control some more I noticed the light on the "auto" does not come on at the lowest temp setting of 60 dig.
Only 61 and up. Also the light does not come on at the hottest temp setting of I believe 90 digrees. But 89 and under the light comes on.
I guess the cars climate control thinks it can never get it as low 60 digrees on a hot day or as warm as 90 digrees on a cold day lol.

prob means that 60 means "as cold as you can" and 90+ means "as hot as you can"
