Hello,
I am installing some aftermarket accessories (dashcam, emergency strobes) and am looking for some advice. I will be using add-a-fuse for each of these. I've installed the dashcam in the fuse marked "panel dimming." I know this fuse is not powered when the car is not running, but is is powered when the car is running and the lights are not on (as in, it is too bright for the headlights to automatically turn on?) My next question is: Is the hazard fuse always powered, or only when the hazard switch is activated?
This fuse is where I'd like to add-a-fuse for the emergency strobes.
Before anybody is concerned, I use the strobes for work, and I'm a first responder. No worries there.
Thanks for your help.
