Would it be possible to take this wiring harness, http://www.amazon.com/Receiver-DEH-...8AOW/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1442171808&sr=8-8 , which plugs into the new stereo, then splice it's wires onto this, http://www.amazon.com/Metra-70-2001...EX78/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1442171405&sr=8-9 , which then will connect to the Roadmaster's original harness?

I plan to use a Pioneer 5100NEX, but my only concern is will this unit be able to operate the telescoping antenna or will I need to raise/lower it manually then?

i almost forgot, you will also need an adapter to mount the radio into your dash as well as an antenna adapter. GM used a funky radio antenna back then.

Also, if I could get a mounting kit that had two single-din slots, could I put in both a radio and a CB radio there?

the link i gave you is for the wiring harness that will allow you to connect to the stock harness in the car.
you cannot get a double din mounting kit because the radios in these cars are 1.5 din. you will have to mount the CB under your dash.

Then that means the 2-din Pioneer wouldn't fit. That sucks. I found a single-DIN clarion unit that would work though, with a 1 din to 1.5 din bracket. 🙂

2= 6 x 9 speakers in the back.

OK, so it's two 5.25 inch speakers for the front doors, and 2 6x9's for the back? What about the mid panel?

as far as i know, there are only 4 speakers.

I have thrown together my audio system. Note that I don't have the wagon yet. These are upgrade plans for when I get the wagon.

Other upgrades I'm going to do when I get the car is a larger 200-amp alternator, a subwoofer box, and a 1000-watt power inverter under the drivers seat, as well as train horns.
