Car is 99 Park Ave. Had frozen LR shock. Car has auto level control. Removed air tube from old shock and plugged into new with minimal problems. Went on to do RR. Air tube will not come out of nipple on shock. Removed clip, pulled, wiggled, twisted. Even tried pressurizing system with auto level system with clip removed, but it still won't come out? Afraid to use heat or liquid wrench. Don't want to damage the micro size o rings on the end of the plastic tube. Does anyone out there know how to get the tube out intact? I don't want to end up replacing the tubing to both sides.

If there is enough tubing there, and the new shock came with an O-ring and end fitting, just cut the tube close to the shock and carry onward. if you need a new end and fitting, I believe you can get them pretty cheaply from an auto or hardware store. You can also try working some silicone lube around the inlet to see if it comes loose.

Thanks for advice. No end fittings or o rings included with new Monroe shocks. I will try auto parts store.

I don't understand what could hold that tubing in there. Something is weird.

I have a 1998 Lesabre Limited I put regular shocks in rear from Autozone No air
