Hello everyone,
I'd like to announce that I just picked up a higher mileage 2012 Regal GS. Its white with nav and a 6 speed manual. I have to say, I wouldn't have ever considered buying a Buick till they offered one with a manual.

Its got 58K miles on it. Is there anyone out there with more? What issues should I look forward to?

58K miles.. dang.. The original owner loved to drive his GS! I have 27K on a 2012 and thought I was high mileage.

Look out for the tension pulley and belt. That was my biggest issue so far. Also, make sure you have plenty of pad on those brembos. They wear out ever 25K miles. You should be on a 3rd set by now on the fronts

Yeah it is a whole lot of miles, and i will put 25K a year. Judging by the Carfax and the community I bought it from it looks like the PO was in the military and spent a good deal of time cruising on the open free way out to the base. I'm hoping the freeway miles kept the wear down on everything.

Its a certified car so the bumper-to-bumper lasts 12k. Do you know what the tension pulley and belt would have cost you. I'm wondering if i should figure out a way to get it done before the warranty is up. I assume there is a thread on here for that issue.

• MTech Short Shifter (if 6MT)
