I recently had issues on my 94 RMW shutting down after a few seconds and all kinds of idiot lights coming on...,
After changing the opti-spark ..think that was the problem,, and other things....
It was determined that there was a problem with the passkey system(which has a resistor in the key) in the ignition.
And guess what,,,,, there is Kit that is specifically designed to override the passkey system,
The kit only cost about $18.00
Running again...and not shutting down,,,,,knock on wood....but the Check Engine light is on and so the Cruise control is not working.
I was told that I have to get an OBD1 Scanner to reset to get the Check engine light turned off
Anyone else have this problem????
