So today I was poking around the my Buick app and noticed something I didn't recognize. According to this screenshot they make it sound like you can add select apps from your mobile device. But when I follow the link it only brings me to upgrading my connectivity options for remote access etc. Has anyone else noticed this or get other options?

Wish I could help, I was curious about if there were other apps. I got mine CPO and read that I needed to use the MyBuick app to look for other apps, but I can't log into it as MyBuick doesn't recognize the VIN. All in all, I don't know if it matters as Android Auto is so much better than anything they could add (highly suggest trying it if you haven't).

Yeah I use AA but it restricts what apps you can use, I was hoping this might allow you to use some other apps not part of AA. I was using an add on to AA to use Torque with limited functionality but it wasn't what I expected. I think I may just end up rooting my phone so I have full access to all of my apps.

It could be the previous owner did not release the VIN?
Check with the dealer that sold you the CPO.

Appreciate the suggestion to talk to the dealer, but they've been pretty crap all in all after the sale. Car was damaged in shipping from the company they hired and the tint job they did was worse than I could have done on my own... I asked for help and they're basically not responding to me anymore. Guess they got their money and they don't care anymore.

If that is the case, you might need to check with OnStar if you still have service with for that.
