I have a 2013 Buick Verano Premium 2.0l.

I have searched what seems like everywhere for a head gasket kit but I only get results for the 2.4l.

Amazon defaults the search criteria to 2.4l. Auto zone won’t even take the input for the premium trim - just errors out. Advanced Auto won’t even tell me if it fits.

I found one one engineparts website but everything is sold individually And I couldn’t find everything that would come in a kit.

Are they possibly interchangeable or do they only exist on imagination island?

Anyway, I’m not 100% sure if it’s the head gasket anyway, just a hunch. The cars exhaust blows enough white smoke so send smoke signals into outer space, the engine shakes, and the oil looks grey-ish (no metallic).

Any info would help, thanks

Looking at Rockauto they have the head gasket but all the other parts, valve cover gasket, etc. have to be purchased individually.

Looking at the pictures they look like the same product as the 2.4l gasket. Would they be the same or are there slight differences?

If they’re the same I would much rather spend the money on the 2.4l gasket kit than spend 5x as much purchasing everything individually

Did you compare the part number for just the head gasket? Different number, not interchangeable.

They don't use the same part # as the 2.4

Thanks guys for the info. This has been stressing me out all day.

Also, is there anything I should replace along with the items that come in a standard head gasket set? As in the timing chain or anything else? I recently purchased the car and I have no knowledge of any maintenance that had been performed on the car previously.

Any indication of rattle from the timing cover? How many miles on engine?
