Bluetooth music cutting out

Whenever I'm using wireless Apple CarPlay, the music that's playing will cut out for about a second, which is very annoying. I did try once before unpairing my phone and pairing it again, but I get the same result. There are no updates available when going through the settings in the head unit, but a buddy of mine that works at a Buick dealerships says I should mention it next time I take it in for service and they should be able to check for updates or reset it. It's hard to say whether it's the car or my phone.

I'm curious to see if anybody else has had this issue.

Resurrecting this since I now have a 2026 GX and it’s having that same issue. There will be times where it work fine, but other times it will cut out every so often for a split second. Heck, there are certain times it won’t even auto connect at all.

I will likely find a day to take it into the dealer, but I want to know anybody else that’s having connection issues.

I have an iPhone 16 Pro. That said, I didn’t really have this issue in my 2024 GMC Terrain.
