Buick enclave 2012 freon capacity

Hello there, i'd like to charge up my a/c, and I wonder if it would be easier to empty (recapture?) out the existing freon and fill up with new to the specified amount? Seems like alot of calculations to just add some. I would most likely mess that up. Any advice is much appreciated thanks.

Modern A/C systems are very sensitive to refrigerant too low and poor cooling, too high and poor cooling and compressor damage. Do your self a favor and have it professionally serviced.
