Buick Ownership
1992 Buick Park Avenue
As I stated above, my 1992 Buick Park Avenue with EU Specs stopped working after a mechanic fixed the faulty crankshaft and noticed a smoldered wire afterwards. It's supposed to be that bundle of cables behind the serpentine belt as shown in the pictures. It now doesn't even turn it goes straight into nothing.

The car ran fine for 5 minutes, stalled and didn't start ever since. I don't know which Wire diagram is right and if I can fix it without the help of an electrician. I also drove it in the months before. That was during Summer.

I am new to this forum, they were suggested by sone friends. Also I am writing from the Phone.

From the picture, the wires in question appear to be from the CPS to the ignition module. It is possible to purchase a new harness and I think that I would check out Rock Auto. Have you considered taking the car back to the mechanic who installed the crankshaft?

This is me from the Computer, I have LastPass on the Phone and it generated a long Password for me.

But anyways I wanted to say that I, surprisingly, found someone not far from me who knows this engine (3800) very well. It's in austria.
He will check it out, I will forward your information to him! The mechanic in Question had my car for four months and he was just done with it.
