Century 2003 dashboard meters turning off and on at random

My Century 2003 dashboard meters are turning off and on at random intervals. Sometimes all the meters (temperature, speedometer & gas) go to zero and then back to normal right away or sometimes after a few minutes. At other times only the temperature and speedometer drop.

Any idea what might fix this?

Not sure what could be wrong, but the first thing I would do is to pull the cluster out and make sure that all connections are clean and tight, no loose wires in the connectors and no burnt or melted connectors.
