What can I use to clean the engine on a 2008 Buick lacrosse CX with out damaging the electronics?

You can use a engine cleaner from Amazon, a local auto parts store or Walmart. Be careful of the coil packs and alternator and try your best to not get them wet. I wash my engine about 3 times a year on my lesabre.

I have always had good results with Gunk Engine Degreaser. Make sure to rinse off thoroughly.
