climate control switch problem

I have a 1991 Park Avenue with about 120K miles on it. The heater fan is stuck on high and runs even when the engine is off. To stop it I have to pop the hood and unplug it...everything else seems to work fine, just the fan is stuck on high...anyone with the same problem? If so, how did you fix it?
