Reading thru a LOT of the TSB's and other operational info...

Just a suggestion - if you are in the northerly reaches consider
changing to the "cold climate" ie: 'Canadian' quality of
Power Steering Fluid...

Plenty of reading on cold weather pump / hose outcomes
down to just the wrong fluid type for the colder blooded
brethren up yonder!

Time to prep up for winter!

YMMV

Thanks for the info, I definitely agree up here in the great white north we see some extreme cold and getting your vehicle prepped can save alot of headaches including choosing the proper fluids rated to the extreme cold. However good to note that the Encore uses Electric power steering and therefore does away with all fluid and associated hoses I have found this system to be extremely robust and holds up very well in the cold, my wife last car (08 Cobalt) also used EPS and went 8 winters and 250,000kms with no power steering issues at all I was skeptical of the electric power steering at first but I am a believer now plus zero maintenance is also nice, one less fluid to flush/change!
