Buick Ownership
96 buick century
I have a 96 Buick Century, and recently power to the headlights, taillights, interior lights, power locks, power seats, and hazards went out. I checked all the fuses and checked the sockets for power. i read a lot about it being fusible links, so when i went to investigate I found a 3 pin connector coming directly off the battery along the driver side engine bay had a pin melted out of it. I read that this connector is very close to the limit of its current and the car being old is most likely the sole reason for this connector failing. Of all the things I have read I have not found the technical term for this connector be mentioned. My question is the name of this connector so I can properly fix the issue.

You state it comes off the battery, do you mean either the positive or negative battery cable?

Assuming this is what you are referring to.
