I have taken my LaCrosse in twice under warranty for cooling and heating issues. The fix was the service guy giving me a printout of how it works. This tells me the service department does not know how to fix it. I have now figured out on my own it is a faulty ambient temperature sensor. Does anyone know where it is and how to get to it? The car is under warranty, I should not be telling a dealer service department how to diagnose something so I will fix myself.

Assuming that you are getting errors on the outside air temperature, the module is located in the front usually in between the grill and the AC radiator, sorry the only diagram I have is a 2016 but may help in identifying what you are looking for #1.

Does the sensor display an inaccurate temperature?
