I have a strong vibration that I can feel in the gas pedal & especially from the front passenger side when I'm driving about 45-50 mph after replacing a wheel bearing. I think it's the CV axle, but I am not sure.
Today I jacked up the car and inspected the boots and saw no issues, but I did notice the passenger side CV axle had some play when I moved it in and out. The driver side, however, had no play and was stiff. I know in and out play is OK on some cars, or so I've been told, but I am not sure about the Century. Does anyone know if the CV axle should be able to move in and out a little where it connects to the transmission?
