Dash Lights - 2004 Buick LeSabre

I am experiencing the dash lights on the message center and radio to be dim at times and then come back on bright. Would this be a poor ground connection or a poor fuse connection. If so, where is the ground wire for the dash lights and radio located. Also what fuse number might this be and it's location. Appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

These cars have automatic headlights which also dims the instrument panel. There is a light sensor inside a small bulb in the middle of the dash near the windshield.

Does it occur during low daylight conditions, cloudy days, tunnels, etc? If yes, it's probably normal.
