Dashboard button

What is this button for? There is no mention of it in the owners manual. It depresses etc... is this a non-functioning trip odometer reset?

It is the trip odometer reset. You have to hold it in for several seconds.

I did not hold the button long enough. Only resets trip 1 & 2.

The button is kind of redundant since there is a reset button the control stalk as well...
