DIM location

Does anyone have any schematics of where the DIM is located in a 2005?

Think mine might be bad. But before I buy a new one I want to run some voltage tests on it.

I just replaced the dash control unit and still have the same symptoms, which are- No control of (windshield, mid, and floor) air. It appears no control of right or left mid-level vents, driver's side has been flaky, now left side is only blowing moderate cool. I do not hear hear diverter doors...

Posts number 2 and 5 are correct. Get a flashlight and put your head by the gas pedal and look up. One 7mm bolts holds it in place. I changed it on my last Buick (2001 Lesabre Limited) so I speak from experience.

Please pardon my stupidity. Looking through that thread the owner is talking about having AC issues. My issues are headlight related...would it be the same controller?

I've replaced stalk, dash switch, relays, and bulbs (just to make sure) and still having intermittent (most often not) problems with the headlights not working.

I took it to a garage yesterday and of course the lights worked without problems. He printed off the following image for me and it talks about a DIM but not an IPM.

I appreciate your knowledge and feedback.
