Easy way to remove the harmonic balancer?

I have a 2010 Buick Lucerne with a 3.9L V6 Motor
The harmonic balancer is trash on it so I'm needing to replace it, what is the best way to loosen the bolt on it?

I'm probably going to just get the removal tool or rent it anyways but, question is, is there a way you can use the tool without taking the radiator out?

Any suggestions?

I've used an electric impact gun/wrench. Way faster, way easier, and no need to find a way to keep the crank from spinning.

Not sure on why the radiator would need to be removed as you go through the wheel well to remove the balancer.
Here is a free online Chilton manual that may help on what is involved.
