My car is 05 LeSabre custom that came with 15" wheels so it has the smaller (286mm?) front brake rotors, and I want to switch them out for the larger (303mm?) rotors. My question is if I get the caliper mounting brackets and rotors from a car that came with 16" wheels (& larger rotors), can I use my stock calipers with said parts? Thanks in advance for your help!

Someone else can chime in on whether the calipers are the same, but unless you are changing your wheels, I believe you are going to have clearance issues trying to put 16” rotors and caliper brackets on a car with 15” wheels. You are moving everything outward toward the inside of the wheel when doing that. There isn’t a whole lot of extra room to work with between the inside of the wheel and the outside of the caliper.

Does that hold true if I'm running 16" raceline wheels on it?

Oh no! Are you 4 imprint certain? Would it require different brake pads as well? If I didn't appreciate honest knowledge so much that would've RUINED my day! Thanks for your response...
Just go to Rockauto and look up the calipers. Different caliper for 16" and yes pads are different also.

Hey, I just went to rockauto (for the first time EVER) and I couldn't figure out how to check on that. Any ideas?
Click on the make, Buick, year, 2005, type of parts, brakes, then caliper or pads.
