Front parking sensors

I have a 2025 Buick envision/preference model and would like to have the front parking sensors installed. Is it cost
effective to have sensors installed or shud I just forget about installation.

There's way more to it than only installing the sensors. The Body Control Module would need reprogramming, for starters. There's software loaded that isolates the sensors' signal so it knows which direction to alert you from, and the displays you have might need to be updated as well. There's also the wiring harnesses that interact with other sensors that would need installation. The bodywork after installing the sensors on the bumper would add to the total cost too. My girlfriends' new Avenir has seats that vibrate on whichever side you're being warned about; you'll need something similar if your Envision doesn't have them. I'm not aware of any aftermarket systems of this type, but you might get lucky there.
