About a month ago my gas gauge stopped reading the correct level, then not long after that the turn signals stopped working, but then started working again, only for a week before they stopped again. As far as the intermittent turn signals, I've check the fuses in the panel and also all the bulbs and they all check out fine. I've pulled the Turn Signal Flasher from the panel box with the thought that might be the problem, found out that all the auto parts stores in town were out of the Flashers, I put it back in and the turn signals worked again.
I planned on taking it in because the AWD light has been on, with the AWD not working for a few months, but I was hoping to make the bill from the auto mechanic a bit less if I can help it. Does anyone have any experience with this? I'm thinking that both the gas gauge issue and turn signal issue are two separate things, but then again it would be quite the coincidence.
