TourX Essence with Opel Insignia DNA.
I was driving my Tourx vehicle when I got the message that my GPS and USB card were not recognized. This caused the screen to go to "SD card Error" and no GPS reception. After turning off the vehicle and then restarting it, everything went back to normal.

I've seen that a couple of times. Most of the time the car was apparently jarred and it ejected. The other time a "reboot" fixed it. I've thought about buying the same make /class of card and trying to clone the one I have to the new one.

I occasionally get the "SD Card Has Been Removed" message on the DIC.
Of course, the SD card has NOT been touched and is firmly inserted in its slot.
When I reported this issue to the dealer a few years ago, I was told it was because I had 2 USB LED lights plugged into the USB ports and that "they are not supported".
Yeah, right.....

I think the problem with the Regals not recognizing the SD card is a common one. In my case, the car's recognized the USB drive or SD card after I turned off the car and then restarted it.

Do you know what is the procedure to hard reboot the HMI?

I've messed with that to the point i'm pretty sure you have to clone specific CId value to the card. There have been cards available that allow for that hack, but i gave up trying because it just isn't worth the effort & investment just to duplicate a card or two here.
Good luck though, i'd like to know exactly where i came up short in that whole process 🤔

Anyways, we do also have the occasional card read error, even with new legit nav cards.
